Bear Down Fridays
Bear Down Fridays is a spirit and pep rally held each Friday before Saturday's home Arizona Football game at Main Gate Square from 4:00-7:00 PM.
Bryan Dean Trio will perform live in Geronimo Plaza from 5 PM to 6 PM & from 7 PM to 8 PM.
The spirit party kicks off at 4 PM with ESPN’s “Happy Hour” with Jody Oehler live from University Boulevard. At 5 PM, Jody is joined by The Groove, The Morning Blend & The CW live music, entertainment, games, prizes, lots of giveaways and family-friendly events.
Every Pep Rally begins at 6:00 PM and features the Pride of Arizona Marching Band, Wilbur and Wilma, U of A’s cheerleaders, the pom squad, twirlers and flags. A variety of University of Arizona coaches make guest appearances at each pep rally. Guest Host on August 31 is University of Arizona head basketball coach, Sean Miller.
Patrons may also enjoy the Junior Cats Activity Zone with a fun inflatables, chalk art, balloon artist, face painting, hair painting, Be Kind Tattoos and more. Enjoy drink and happy hour specials at area restaurants and patios adjacent to the Pep Rally.
